Field Bar + Bottle Shop (“Field,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Field Wine Club member portal at field.vin. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

When you join or use Field Wine Club, we collect:

• Account information — your name, email address, and phone number (if provided)
• Membership preferences — wine style preferences for custom club members
• Payment information — billing details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers
• Purchase history — membership charges, add-on purchases, and credits
• Pickup activity — when and how allocations are picked up
• Communications — emails you send to us and your communication preferences
• Technical data — session information needed to keep you logged in securely

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate your membership, process payments, and manage your subscription
• Curate your wine allocations (custom club members)
• Send you monthly allocation emails, pickup codes, and member communications
• Send SMS notifications if you’ve opted in
• Respond to your support requests and questions
• Improve the member experience

Email Marketing & Analytics

We use Flodesk to manage email marketing communications. Flodesk may collect analytics about email opens and clicks using standard email tracking technology. This helps us understand what content is useful to members. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly.

Transactional emails (pickup codes, billing receipts, account notices) are sent via Resend and are necessary for your membership — these cannot be opted out of while your membership is active.

Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your card information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. You can review Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Information We Do Not Share

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.

We share your information only with the service providers necessary to operate the club:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Flodesk — email marketing (name and email only)

All service providers are contractually required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and solely for the purpose of providing services to us.

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations. If you cancel your membership, your account data remains on file so you can rejoin without re-entering your information. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

Billing and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP

Security

We take security seriously. The Field Wine Club portal uses HTTPS encryption, secure session management, and magic link authentication (no passwords to steal). Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. We regularly review our security practices.

That said, no system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the portal to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on the member portal.

Children’s Privacy

Field Wine Club is intended for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Washington State Residents

Washington State residents have additional rights under the Washington My Health MY Data Act and other applicable state laws. We honor all requests made under applicable Washington privacy law. Contact us at wineclub@fieldtacoma.com to make a request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active members of material changes by email. Continued use of your membership after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
